Yes, from PRO 2 and PRO 3, you can add users from your session on your Apitracer Pro site. You can also choose what access this new user has.

Yes, it is possible with the PRO 1 and PRO 2 versions. You can purchase the weighing station later.

With the PRO 1 version, your colonies will be compared based on the number of supers. With the PRO 2 version, you can enter your weights from the app or by uploading an Excel file on your ApiTracer website.

The primary objective of the Pro version of Apitracer is to ensure detailed monitoring of the colonies. The weighing station allows you to easily and quickly add an objective measurement of your honey production in the apiary and provides you with reliable statistics on your livestock.

For internet in the apiary, it's better but solutions exist; the programme is not data-hungry, a simple connection sharing from a smartphone is sufficient. You can also store a day's worth of weighing on the station and export it via USB.

Yes, please send the company code you intend to use. If you have a 3-letter breeder code, we recommend using it; otherwise, any combination of letters or numbers will be suitable. We will then create a temporary blank space for you or one with a sample of demonstration data to help you familiarise yourself with our system.

A colony must have a 6-digit code starting with 1 and increasing by 2.

We recommend using the second digit to differentiate the types of colonies to make it as readable as possible: 100,000 for hives, 110,000 for nuclei, and 120,000 for nucs, for example.

Different colours of barcode labels are also available to differentiate hives (in green) from nucleus hives (in orange), as well as nuclei (in yellow) and supers (in white).

You can directly subscribe to the Pro 1 subscription from the app: Management → Profile → Pro 1 Subscription. You can also send us your needs by email at contact@apitracer.fr, and we will help you choose the subscription that suits your livestock.

Yes, your apiaries, hives, and tasks will be erased for the free version. If you have a backup via email, you will be able to easily restore it on your new phone by downloading the app again.

Only your in-app purchase will be retained. However, for the Pro version, all your data is automatically backed up to your web space and you can access it even if you delete and reinstall the application.

No. ApiTracer PRO works offline: the internet is only required to synchronise data (available with a subscription), that is to say, to send your entries and retrieve updates.

  • The data entry (quick scan, harvests, wintering, transhumance, operations, losses, evaluations, weighings, strain associations…) is always possible without a network. Each action is recorded on the phone and then automatically sent to the server as soon as an internet connection is available.
  • Viewing information (such as the list of hives, history, or details for a specific hive or super) is based on a copy of the data stored on the phone, which is updated during each synchronization. Once this copy is up to date, it remains accessible even when offline.

A connection is therefore only required when synchronizing, and when accessing information for a hive or a super that has not yet been synchronized on the device (for example, immediately after installing the application).

With the free version of ApiTracer PRO (no account required), the application functions entirely offline: all data remains solely on your phone, with no synchronization.

Yes, it is possible—whether on wooden, plastic, or polystyrene crates—to attach barcode labels using the stainless steel screws provided.

We have aimed to create an application that requires as little screen-tapping as possible. Once you have initiated a scan and selected your apiary, you can perform a series of consecutive scans without needing to tap the screen.

We believe that, given the noise from trucks or leaf blowers—or simply the fact that many people use sturdy smartphone cases—the voice command option is best avoided.

Within the application, you have access to a list of potential evaluations; if you would like others, please do not hesitate to contact us via email at contact@ruchersdubassigny.fr
